L.A. Reynolds Garden Showcase was started in 1991 by the members of the Long Family: Jerry, Ken and Mike. We are now the largest nursery in the Triad and a favorite among local residents receiving the Winston-Salem Journal Readers' Choice Award in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
History of L.A. Reynolds
L.A. Reynolds was founded in the early 1900's by Lamb Archibald Reynolds. Throughout the mid-1900's L.A. Reynolds Company was involved in the building of roads and interstate highways, as well as, growing fruit trees and other nursery material, landscaping projects and the seeding of hundreds of miles of newly built roads and highways. In the late 1960's and 1970's L.A. Reynolds Company opened up several small garden shops in and around Winston-Salem.
During the 1980's the company transformed mainly from a landscaping company into a small garden center. In 1991 the Long family bought L.A. Reynolds. The facility has undergone major renovations and utilized the vision of Jerry Long to propel the company to be one of the leading garden centers in the Southeast.

Products
may be returned or exchanged within 15 days of purchase when
accompanied by sales receipt. If you have a receipt and paid by:
CASH: You will receive a cash refund.
CREDIT CARD: You will receive a credit on your credit card.
CHECK: You will receive a company check (or cash if less than $50.00) after ten banking days.
All returns and exchanges must be in sellable condition, with the exception of manufacturer's defects.

L.A. Reynolds Green Initiative
- Have Organic and other Green Friendly products available to our customers.
- 100% of Nursery irrigation (plant watering) comes from natural rainwater.
- We take back plant pots and trays to recycle or for customer use.
- Some plant trays sent back to vendor for reuse.
- We reuse or recycle our pallets.
- We recycle our cardboard.
- We limit printing of emails and other computer generated documents.
- We do our best to make wise use of electricity, natural gas and water.
- We recycle toner cartridges.
- We recycle outdated computer and electrical components.
- We do our best to maximize use of Local and In-State plant vendors.
- We minimize use of synthetic chemicals and favor natural remedies when possible.
- We have not added any impervious surface since 2000.
